The original members of the Radio Lutterworth group have had various contacts in recent weeks regarding the different applications made to OfCom for an FM licence in and around the Lutterworth area.
Two separate organisations applied to Ofcom to cover our local area in March 2019. As yet no announcement has been made regarding whether any licence has been, or will be, granted.
Radio Lutterworth is open to working with any group that is aligned to the original objectives of Frank Davis way back in 2006 – local radio for the local community.
As and when any new group has the facility to provide FM broadcasts to the area Radio Lutterworth will be able to advise or support as a new group would desire.
Until that time Radio Lutterworth is unable to provide any further comment or insight.
