Vacancy for Web Site Designer

Radio Lutterworth

Take to the Air

The current Radio Lutterworth website was reconstituted after the 2008 RSL broadcast, and since that time has been added to without really investigating any radical re design.

Whilst it has always been something that was considered on the agenda inevitably without having a specialist for this role (and with demands and commitments in other areas) things have not progressed as quickly as they might have.
Therefore, Radio Lutterworth needs a creative and talented Web Designer who will voluntarily be able to develop an exciting new feel for this established site.

So what does this mean?

Well, a template for the Radio Lutterworth website has been identified from the Joomla collection called "Feel the Music".
The challenge will be to migrate the comprehensive existing content over to this new template.

What else is there within the design brief?

To some extent this is a blank canvas for an ambitious new creative talent to make their mark. Improvements and clever design features can be accommodated where they enhance the "hit" experience of site visitors of all ages.
Perhaps the only constraints are that any editing of future content must be quick and easy for editors of less capability (perhaps like the existing webmaster - no disrespect mate!)

Is that it?

Almost! The existing "Blog" page and the "Discussion Forum" are technically housed outside the Radio Lutterworth domain and need integrating - but you will find that a piece of cake.....

For more details contact the current webmaster via email - webbmeister@radiolutterworth.co.uk

.....because he can't wait to share some fresh new ideas with an enthusiastic talent.

You do not have to have done this before, but if you have let us see an example of your work.
The only other requirements are that you have sufficient time and energy to commit to the Radio Lutterworth project (it could take over your life!) and that you LOVE YOUR RADIO...
