Radio Lutterworth Upcoming Events & Activities 2009
In the "off season" the Radio Lutterworth team has been working hard to establish some regular events that will provide both valuable fund raising for your community radio station and help run some activities that people have let us know they would like to see happening around the area. Upcoming Events already booked Saturday 15th August - Lutterworth Carnival, Lutterworth Recreation Ground 12.00 midday to 4.00pm Radio Lutterworth will have a stall and will be launching the Big Summer Raffle to aid station funds. In the evening, Radio Lutterworth will provide a disco at the Red Arrow pub Saturday 22nd August - Lifestyle and Craft Fayre, Lutterworth College 11.00am to 3.30pm Pilates and Reflexology Demonstrations plus nearly 40 stalls including Natural and Holistic products, Handmade crafts,  and Organic produce Summer Raffle tickets and refreshments also available CALL 01455 284312 for more details Friday 11th September - Ashby Magna Street Fayre, 6.00pm to 11.00pm Radio Lutterworth providing Music and PA Services Saturday 12th September - Pub Quiz at the Dog & Gun, Walton That will be the weekend of Bakanalia Border Morris Social camping and dancing 'n' drinking etc. Merve the Landlord invites the friends of Radio Lutterworth. Throughout July/August Radio Lutterworth's very own "Focus on Folk" presenter John McDonald - a Barn Dance Caller of over 30 years experience, has organised a series of Barn Dance Fitness and fun sessions starting in July.
